Run, Walk, or Trot the 5K for Clean Air!
We are almost a month away from Clean Air Carolina’s 1st Annual 5K Run for Clean Air so NOW is the time to register to run, walk or trot – it’s only $20 until May 8th! Register yourself and your family!
The 5K Run for Clean Air committee has worked diligently over the past few months to make this event as green as possible. We will be pursuing Athlete’s For A Fit Planet’s Pledge for Sustainability. As part of the required eco-practices all registration will take place online prior to race day! We will also be sending our registrants a virtual “goodie bag” packed with coupons from local environmentally-conscious businesses who support Clean Air Carolina’s work for a healthier community.
All cups and eating utensils provided at the 5K Run for Clean Air will be made from biodegradable and sustainable products. We will be composting and recycling onsite so nothing goes to waste. Earth Fare will be present handing out yummy fruit to participants. The 5K Run for Clean Air will be a fun event for the entire family and a great way to meet others who are passionate for healthy communities and the environment!
