5K Run for Clean Air
Did you know that Charlotte was ranked 10th smoggiest city by the American Lung Association in 2010? Our community deserves the right to breathe clean and healthy air as we enjoy our outdoor activities.
On Saturday, May 22, 2010 Clean Air Carolina hosted our 1st Annual 5K Run for Clean Air at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte. This successful event raised funds for our education and advocacy programs. A total of 275 men, women and children came out to run or walk for clean air!
Thank you to all who participated in this fun event and congratulations to our winners!
