In 2018 CleanAIRE NC led the creation of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Climate Leaders, a broad coalition of Charlotte-area organizations. Our mission is simple: to push Charlotte to set ambitious climate goals, and then ensure we meet them. We are improving the health of our communities by advocating for clean energy and carbon-reducing strategies.

The Historic West End Green District of Charlotte is an initiative between community leaders who have been collaborating with CleanAIRE NC since 2017. Our shared goal of a Green District is designed to improve air quality and health, reduce emissions, and advance equity.
