Take Action

From the mountains to the sea, everyone in our state and beyond has the right to breathe clean, healthy air. Together, we can fight for this right and make a difference. So, join us by taking action in any way you can.

Help Protect North Carolina's Air Quality!

Use our emissions reporting form to report air pollution you see in or around your community. Whether you smell something foul, observe a plume of smoke, or see soot on your property, it is important to know how pollution is affecting your quality of life. Reporting pollution helps to create a public record of air pollution concerns, which can help strengthen air pollution protections.

We focus on the issues that matter most to North Carolinians. Check back often to see what we’re tackling next.

4 Ways You Can Take Action Anytime to Help Slow Climate

1. Contact Your Representative

If government representatives don’t know that climate change and air pollution issues are important to North Carolinians, they don’t know to prioritize it in the legislature. Tell your representatives that slowing climate change and fighting for cleaner air is important to you and to take action where they can on these issues to protect our planet.
